70th Annual Oregon Logging Conference Announces Schedule
Conference offers the opportunity for participants
to earn up to
nine professional logger credits in only two days
EUGENE, Ore. "A Seventy Year Tradition
Forestry, Equipment, Education," will be the theme of the 70th annual Oregon
Logging Conference (OLC), to be held Thursday, Feb. 21, to Saturday, Feb. 23, at
the Lane Events Center and Eugene Hilton Conference Center in Eugene. The
conference will offer the opportunity for participants to earn up to nine
professional logger credits in just two days.
The conference will feature educational seminars on
a wide range of topics including equipment innovations, safety tips and the
future of logging.
For the second year, the conference will expand
beyond the logging and trucking industries to include indoor and outdoor
displays of construction and trucking equipment.
"Celebrating our milestone 70th anniversary reminds
us of how important it is to look to the future and continue to be innovative
and adaptable in this changing industry," says Blair Moody, 2008 OLC president.
